The halls of the Baptist Bible Seminary and Institute (BBSI) Chapel were filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and triumph on April 26, 2026. Friends, family, faculty, and mentors gathered to witness a sacred milestone: the graduation of the BBSI Batch Class of 2026. It was a day defined not just by academic achievement, but by a collective lifting of voices in praise to the One who made the journey possible.
A Culmination of Faith and Perseverance
The atmosphere was electric as the ceremony began with the theme, "Praise the Lord, raise your voice!" For the graduates, this was the culmination of years of rigorous theological study, late-night research, and practical ministry training. Every diploma handed out represented a story of sacrifice, growth, and unwavering perseverance.
The BBSI Chapel, a place where these students had spent countless hours in prayer and worship, served as the perfect backdrop for this commencement. It was a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness—from the first day they stepped onto campus as nervous freshmen to this moment of sending forth as equipped leaders.
An Inspiring Charge from Rev. Nimrod Ebenezer C. Tica
A highlight of the commencement exercises was the powerful message delivered by Rev. Nimrod Ebenezer C. Tica. His words were both a balm and a battle cry for the graduating batch. Rev. Tica offered an inspiring yet challenging message, urging the new graduates to remain steadfast in their calling despite the complexities of the modern world.
His charge reminded the class that their education was not merely for their own advancement, but for the service of the Kingdom. The silence in the chapel was palpable as the graduates soaked in the wisdom of a seasoned servant of God, preparing them for the spiritual realities of the ministry that lies ahead.
The Class Theme: No Reserves, No Regrets
As the Batch of 2026 prepares to step into their next chapters—whether in pastoring, missions, education, or community leadership—they do so under a powerful banner: "No Reserves, No Regrets."
This theme reflects a heart of total surrender. To live with "no reserves" is to give everything to the cause of Christ, holding nothing back for personal comfort or safety. To live with "no regrets" is to serve with such Diligence and integrity that, at the end of the day, one can say they were found faithful. This motto is more than just a graduation slogan; it is a lifelong commitment to the Great Commission.
Looking Forward with Hope
The ceremony concluded with a spirit of joy and camaraderie. While the "amen" has been said on their formal seminary education, their real-world education is just beginning. We are confident that this batch will carry the "light" of BBSI wherever God leads them.
To our graduates: You have navigated the challenges of seminary with grace and faith. You have proven that you are ready to lead with character and excellence. As you go out into the harvest field, remember that the same God who sustained you through your exams will sustain you in the ministry.
