Program Overview
AB Theology
The undergraduate Christian Formation program in Theology seeks to promote the spiritual, moral, cultural and intellectual formation of the students. It offers the study of the religions, historical traditions and related issues of society through the lens of the local church and wider culture, with a particular emphasis of furthering ministry and theological knowledge.

Areas of Concentration
Biblical Studies
The Biblical Studies degree program will equip you to interpret the Bible for yourself and others. Your ability to understand and apply the Bible will be enhanced through historical and contemporary exploration of Scripture, theology, and practical ministry.
Pastoral Studies
The Pastoral Studies program will equip you to interpret the Bible for yourself and others. Your ability to understand and apply the Bible will be enhanced through practical training in preaching, counseling, church administration, leadership, and biblical languages.
Christian Education
The Christian Education major is designed for the educational ministry of the church. Baptist-oriented, seeking grace in a local church context, the Biblical, Theological, and Educational disciplines provide the student a preparation for service in the local church. The student has the opportunity within a challenging ministry and/or design of the Christian Educational Programs. Both a thesis and practicum are required for this program.
Intercultural Studies
A rigorous course of study in theology, missiology, and cross-cultural communication to deepen your understanding of God’s mission. You will develop practical skills in evangelism, church planting, and leadership while engaging in practical ministry in a variety of cultural contexts. Intercultural Studies majors recognize that the mandate to make disciples of all nations requires thoughtful, spirit-led preparation.
Christian Ministry
Seek to develop effective and vibrant church-related ministries represented by providing a core study of scripture, theology, and ministry practice. This program develops competencies necessary for effective service in ministry to others. Additionally, this program is designed to prepare individuals for service in a variety of ministries to the local church and its people, and to prepare a track-2 training in pastoral calling for Christians in cross-cultural contexts.

Requirements for Admission
Applicants to the AB Theology program are asked to submit the following documents to the Registrar’s Office.
Original SHS Card or College Original Transcript of Records
Original PSA Birth Certificate
Pastor’s Recommendation
Photocopy of Vaccination Card
