At Baptist Bible Seminary & Institute (BBSI), our College Department offers a Christ-centered and academically rigorous foundation for those called to serve in various areas of ministry. Each program is designed to equip students with the spiritual formation, theological depth, and practical ministry skills needed to fulfill their God-given calling.

🎓 Regular Program — AB Theology

The Bachelor of Arts in Theology is a comprehensive undergraduate program focused on spiritual, moral, and intellectual formation. It provides a strong biblical and theological foundation in light of Scripture, history, and cultural relevance.

Tract 1 – Ministerial Studies

• Pastoral Ministry (179 Units)
  Develops future pastors and ministry leaders through balanced theoretical and practical training, preparing them to lead effectively in local churches and parachurch organizations.
• Christian Ministry (179 Units)
  Equips students to become ministry and missions specialists who can design and implement church programs that fulfill the church’s vision and goals.
• Intercultural Studies (179 Units)
  Combines theology, anthropology, and cross-cultural communication to prepare students for missions and ministry in diverse cultural settings.

Tract 2 – Christian Education (194 Units)

Provides a strong foundation in educational ministry. Students learn the biblical, theological, and philosophical bases of education, the dynamics of teaching and learning, and the design of Christian education ministries in the church. Professional Education subjects are integrated into the curriculum.

Tract 3 – Church Music (202 Units)

Trains students to become pastors, musicians, and worship leaders with deep biblical and theological understanding. The program integrates Bible and theology, music studies, and worship leadership, fostering both skill and character formation for church service.

🎓 Special Programs

• Diploma in Theology and Christian Ministry (75 Units)
  A ladderized program for college graduates called to full-time ministry. An additional 25 units and internship are required for those pursuing a full AB Theology degree.
• Diploma in Christian Education (60 Units)
  Designed for college graduates seeking to teach and lead in Christian Education both in church and school settings.
• Certificate in Church Music
  A non-CHED program focused on worship, theology, and music. It prepares musicians to serve as worship leaders and church music educators.
• Basic Bible Course (BBC)
  A 50-unit program that equips Senior High School graduates for college life and ministry through intensive Bible training.
• Christian Studies (30 Units)
  An extension program offered in partnership with local churches to train SHS and college graduates for ministry.
• Shepherdology (30 Units)
  A non-CHED program designed for active church workers seeking formal pastoral and ministry training.
